SPECIALIST BATHROOM INTERIOR DESIGN

Bathroom design is a step apart from interior design, a discipline in its own right. Although the same design considerations must be given to space, balance, contrast etc as with any other room scheme, bathroom designing adds a new dimension in creative thinking.

There are 2 additional criteria to be considered.  Bathroom design must first follow the laws of physics - water will always flow down hill.   This dictates the placement of pieces which must be integrated, seamlessly, to ensure the success of the whole scheme.

In the main, bathroom design, more than any other design discipline, is influenced by the products available.  Whilst it is possible to commission bespoke furniture pieces and shower enclosures, the available choices of brassware, pottery pieces etc are more defined.  

It is by using a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the products available, combined creatively,  that exciting and inspirational bathroom designs can be realised.

Understanding the implications of a plumbing system without allowing it to restrict the potential for design flair.
